Do you remember your first flight? Where did you go? Why?

Yeah
and it was to Langkawi. It was my first visit to the island and also my
first vacation under the guidance and care of a tour company. Berjaya
Tours if my memory serves me well. With Dadas working position as a
Bernama journalist, everything was pretty much borne by Berjaya. We
stayed at Delima Hotel which is back then the nearest of its kind to
the airport (nowadays the nearest would be the Helang Hotel. right next
to the terminal). Mak and Zharil tagged along as well. I remember
enjoying the rides we took on the tour bus and the briefings of
historical events/sites given entertainingly by our tour guide who
resembled Muhammad Taib (former Selangor Minister) a whole lot. The
whole week remains one of the many highlights of my life. What made it
even sweeter was that, instead of getting the standard 747 for our
return flight, we were thrown into a Boeing 747 Airbus filled with
Japanese tourists from gramps to grandkids. Kawaii!!!
